According to the method of model test and the similarity theory

a mathematical model of bentonite burn-out has been developed by means of the least square method and the principle of linear regression. It reveals the physical essence of bentonite burnout

which has an exponential relation with the temperature and time of heating effect of sand mould. Hence

it is possible to quantitatively adjust bentonite in the sand system before and after heating of green sand.
