Aim\ To overcome the difficulties resulted from the nonminimum phase property of DC/DC boost converters. Methods\ The control problem of the output voltage is transformed in to that of inductor current
and a cascade controller is adopted. The outer loop of the cascade controller adopts conventional PI control algorithm and takes the capacitor voltage as the controlled variable; the inner one adopts nonlinear output feedback control algorithm and takes the inductor current as the controlled variable. Results\ Simulated results of a certain DC/DC boost converter indicate that the controller presented above is feasible. Conclusion\ This kind of controller not only can make the controlled system achieve excellent dynamic characteristics
but also have strong robustness to the variations of system parameters
