The interface character of C/Cu composite and the influence of alloy element Fe are studied by means of electron microscopic analysis and X-ray diffractometer. The results show that Fe can react with carbon fiber and the interface bonding strength is improved by adding alloy element Fe. Strength of composite is increased from 592 MPa to 696 MPa as the result of iron-carbon fiber reaction. Chemical interface bonding character is one of the ways improving C/Cu composite strength.
