an attempt has been made to study the initial variable bullet dispersion of Gatling gun with a basic mathematical analysis model of bullet movement. The resulting vertical and horizontal slant angular displacement of bullet in half constraint region was presented during gun-firing
and the influence of rotor rotational speed and barrels clamp cone angle on initial ballistic dispersion were also discussed. It has been found that the rotational barrels lead to accessional bullet dispersion in contrast to conventional gun
and that the project yaw angle increases linear with rotary rate of barrels.High firing velocity(over 1 200 r/m) will lead to considerable dispersion.
