This paper describe characteristics of high-g triaxial piezoresistive accelerometer used for oblique penetrations into concrete target. We conducted three sets of penetration experiments with concrete targets. The projectiles were designed to contain a three-channel acceleration data recorder. The sensor chosen for the acceleration recorder design is the triaxial piezoresistive accelerometer. Thus
we recorded acceleration during launch and deceleration during penetration.Measured deceleration-time data
striking velocity and penetration depths were analyzed. To guarantee higher accuracy
We calibrate shock sensitivity and transverse sensitivity of the high-g accelerometer with the Hopkinson bar and the laser-grating interferometer.
