In order to improve the jet velocity

the initiation process of shaped charge with a partition and vice grain or a ring charge is studied by LS-DYNA software.Meanwhile the numerical simulation results of the jet's formation and the process of adjusting waveform are analyzed.The result indicates that the control of detonation wave play an important role on the shaped charge;a good detonation wave can improve the penetration performance and penetration stability of the shaped charge warhead;jet velocity of ring initiation increases from 6 380 m/s of the point initiation to 8 531 m/s as the increase of detonation diameter;the detonation conditions of ring charge can effectively improve the power of shaped charge.
