The welding continuous cooling transformation(CCT) diagram data base(about 200 frames)for eight series of steel and the chemical component data base for the welding material are set up with AutoCAD and database software.By calling the CCT diagram data base and choosing right criterion equations

the metallurgical structure and mechanical property of the heat-affected zone and weld metal are predicted in different welding processes.Results show that the software can optimize the welding parameters through predicting the metallurgical structure and mechanical property of weld

and is helpful for accurate application of CCT diagrams which is fundamental from the point of engineering.
