In order to strengthen the concealed weapon detection in security fields

the theory and the structure of active millimeter wave focal plane imaging system was introduced.On application background of the security checkpoint of airport and customs

the experiment process of extracted the shape of concealed weapon from target image;separated the target and background by using Otsu adaptive threshold and mathematical morphology algorithms.Experimental results show that the system can get the concealed weapon image

and after image manipulation

it can identify nature of the target clearly.
