A new characteristic subgroup W(S)was defined for an arbitrary finite p-group S

and a theorem which was similar to Glauberman-Solomon's was proved.Namely

if Gis ap-stable group and S is a Sylow p-subgroup of G

then W(S)is a nontrivial characteristic subgroup under appropriate conditions.
