Results\ The relations between angles of cutter and its strength and stiffness are obtained. Conclusion\ The accuracy of temperature stress coupled field analysis of cutter is better than the analysis of single field of stress. It puts up a new method in studying the theory of metal cutting mechanics and some effective attempts are made.
