Abstract

As a military standard and the requirement on the interface of 1553B bus

the characteristic of MIL-STD-1553B were discussed.BU-61580′s characteristics and function as an Advanced Communication Engine(ACE) were taken as an application sample to show the feasibility of 1553B bus communication and the character and functions of BU-61580 interface chip. The frame chart and part of the procedure were also given. It is proved that data can be transmitted integrally and safely by 1553B bus.
