In this paper

a new type iron based high temperture alloy GH8607 is introduced. The duplex basic phase α/γ and disperse Laves phase M 6C are formed through solid solution treatment and aging processes. Test results show that GH8607 alloy possesses excellent high temperature mechanical properties

physical performances and oxidation resistance. It was used as heat drawing die for shell body and its performance is satifying.
