After studying retort of engine shaft

a general software is worked out to calculate engine shaft and Holzer theory is used for free vibration and principle of conservation of energy for forced vibration. Through several experiments on various types of engine

it is verified that the test result is in agreement with the calculated result

and the software has great value in calculating engine shafting.
