Melamine-urea-formaldehyde-chlorocyclo-phosphazene microcapsule flame retardant was prepared by in-situ polymerization process using melamine
urea and formaldehyde as raw material. Themro-gravimetry(TG) measurement showed that thermal decomposition temperature of chlorocyclophosphazene microencapsule was obviously increased. The flame retardancy of Polypropylene(PP)/chlorocyclophosphazene microencapsule was improved compared with PP/chlorocyclophosphazene
and the mechanical properties of PP/ chlorocyclophosphazene microencapsule was superior to PP/chlorocyclophosphazene greatly.
