The hyperspectral remote sensing data processing methods include three sorts
i.e.endmember-based methods
spectral matching methods and spectralcurve-based processing methods.A new processing method-fractal-based method is presented in this paper.A brief description is given to explain the nonlinear mechanism resulting in fractal of spectral curves
a SPOT panchromatic image and a TM1 image are presented to show the self similar
and some computational results are given to show exponential relation between the total length of curves and the spectral band widths. The three aspects give a possibility that hyperspectral curves show fractal feature
thus a fractal analysis method may be used to study hyperspectral remote sensing data.
