Numerical simulation was performed to study projectiles perforating obliquely multi-layered steel plates with different initial velocity and oblique angles of target.Physical images and evolution laws of action of projectile and targets with time-space were obtained by comparing simulative results with experimental ones. The research work indicates that the velocity of projectile shows a stepped decrease and the attitude of flight changes obviously during steel projectiles penetrating and perforating spaced targets. The spacetime point of quick-drop stage of projectile velocity is corresponding with that of the extreme overload. The changing times of velocity and the times of peak value of acceleration are uniform with the number of spaced targets. When only one influencing factor is changed and other influencing factors are invariable
the residual velocity and the angle of attack and overload increase with the initial velocity of projectile and oblique angles of target.
