Reductive immobilization of Tc(Ⅶ) in radioactive waste were studied with theoretical analysis and experiment
in withch radioactive technetium was replaced by rhenium.Through the theoretical calculation of thermodynamic and dynamic
the difficulty degree and valence state of reaction of zerovalent iron(ZVI) nanoparticles reducing TcO-4 were studied. The dynamic of rhenium's reduction and immobilization were analyzed by trial-and-error method
fitting method and other methods. The experimental results were consistent with the theoretical calculations
which indicated that reduction and immobilization of technetium by ZVI nanoparticles in soil followed pseudo first order reaction with the production of TcO2.TcO-4 was immobilized. The particle of certain size significantly influences the reaction.
