An X ray detector used in the X ray blockade screens for measuring muzzle velocity and a complete signal processing cirucit is introduced. The detector has quick time reponse

high sensitivity and signal/noise ratio. The blockade equipment consists of the direct current X ray source and the X ray detector. It succesfully satisfies the accurate measurement of muzzle velocity. The standard deviation of time is below 0.1%.
